Dear Mike, Martin and family, It was with great sadness that I heard today that dear Ann had passed away. I first met her as a parent many years ago when I taught Martin at Bakewell Methodist Junior School, but then in later years I had the privilege of knowing her as a friend and colleague when she worked there as a supply teacher. She was always the consummate professional and was loved by both the children and by those who worked alongside her. It was also a joy to meet socially with her occasionally during our retirement years and I will always remember her for warmth and wisdom, her laughter and great sense of fun.
